This is a Porsche 911T from 1971 and chassis number 9111101762. The car was originally supplied in Germany and then exported to America. That car drove there until 2011, when he was taken back to Europe by the last owner.
What was meant as a simple restoration project has become a body off restoration. Different parts of the body were so affected by the rust that they were completely renewed. After that, the body is sandblasted and expertly sprayed in the Porsche color “Chiffon Weiss”. The interior and all clocks and pointers have been completely restored and renewed where necessary. The chairs where covered again with beige leather, what also covers the inside of the doors and back seats. The roofing is completely renewed.
The base of the engine is a 2.2T which is by no means matching numbers. This engine has been engineered by “Frank Schmidt” to a engine with 2.7S specifications.
The engine features 2X3 double Weber carburettors, external oil cooler, 2.7S pistons and cylinders, 2.4 liter carter, 2.7S camshafts and hydraulic chain tensioner. Engine No. 6220618, Type 911/81.
The original 901 gearbox has been completely revised at the restoration.
The restoration process is fully documented and the invoices and pictures of the process are present. Total cost of the project amounts to almost €100,000,-
The result is a “beautiful” restored Porsche 911, year 1971, a 2.7 L. engine with 210 PS and a great look!
